- Thickness: 0.13mm
This is the nominal thickness of the base steel sheet.
Advantage: Extremely lightweight, low cost, easy to handle and fabricate.
Disadvantage: Very low strength, stiffness, and impact resistance. Poor load-bearing capacity and prone to deformation.
- Galvanization:
A layer of zinc is coated onto the thin steel substrate primarily for rust and corrosion prevention.
The zinc coating mass (e.g., Z80, Z120) is often not specified for common corrugated sheets, but it provides basic corrosion protection.
- Corrugated Profile:
The sheet is roll-formed into a wave-like pattern (corrugations). This structure significantly enhances its longitudinal rigidity and load-bearing capacity, preventing it from bending easily.
Common profiles include small, medium, and large waves. Generally, a higher profile offers better rigidity.

Comparison & Upgrade Options
Upgrade in Thickness: For permanent structures, consider 0.3mm - 0.6mm galvanized or, better yet, pre-painted (color-coated) sheets.
Color-Coated Sheets (PPGI/PPGL): Feature a painted coating over the galvanized layer, offering superior corrosion resistance (10-15+ years), aesthetic colors, and a slightly higher price.
Aluminum or Alu-Zinc Sheets: Offer better corrosion resistance (especially Alu-Zinc alloys like AZ150) and longevity than standard galvanized steel.
Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Alloy Panels: High-performance, exceptional durability (up to 40+ years), used for premium architecture, and significantly more expensive.
