Hot Dipping Galvanized Steel Pipe/tube
products Manufacturing Process (Hot-Dip Galvanizing)
The hot-dip galvanizing process primarily involves the following key steps:
Degreasing (Alkaline Cleaning):
Removes oils, grease, and dirt from the surface of the steel pipe.
Pickling:
Utilizes a hydrochloric or sulfuric acid solution to eliminate rust and scale from the surface.
Fluxing (Flux Agent Immersion):
The pickled steel pipe is immersed in a zinc ammonium chloride flux solution to prevent re-oxidation before entering the zinc bath and to enhance the wettability of the molten zinc.
Hot-Dip Galvanizing:
The pre-treated steel pipe is immersed in molten zinc at approximately 450°C for a sufficient duration to allow a reaction between iron and zinc, forming a zinc-iron alloy layer.
Cooling:
After extraction from the zinc bath, the pipe is rapidly cooled either by water quenching or natural cooling to achieve the final bright surface.

Application Fields
Applications: This is the most common type, widely used in:
Water and Gas Transportation Projects: As water pipes, gas pipes, and heating pipes.
Architectural Structures: For scaffolding, industrial building trusses, and support structures.
Fencing and Greenhouses: As highway guardrails, sports field fences, and skeletons for agricultural greenhouses.

1. Long Service Life, More Cost-Effective
The hot-dip galvanized layer offers excellent anti-corrosion properties, allowing the steel pipe to be used outdoors or in humid environments for many years without rusting. This means you won't need to frequently replace the pipes or spend extra money on regular painting maintenance, saving significant costs in the long run.

2. Strong Adaptability, More Convenient
It retains the high strength of the original steel pipe while being easy to work with. You can cut, thread, and bend it just like ordinary steel pipe without the galvanized layer peeling off. Whether for on-site installation or later modifications, the operation is very convenient-no need to worry about it being too "delicate."

3. Weather Resistant and Impact Resistant, Safer
The galvanized layer is firmly bonded to the steel pipe, with a hard and wear-resistant surface that can withstand bumps during transportation and installation. At the same time, it resists harsh weather conditions such as acid rain, high humidity, and salt spray. This provides greater peace of mind when used in structures like supports and guardrails.

4. Smooth Surface, More Aesthetic and Easy to Clean
The hot-dip galvanized steel pipe has a uniform and bright surface that can be used directly without the need for additional painting like ordinary steel pipes, giving it a clean and attractive appearance. Meanwhile, the smooth surface resists dust and dirt accumulation-even if soiled, a simple wipe with a cloth cleans it easily.
