Hot-rolled seamless steel pipes are seamless steel tubes that are rolled at a temperature above their recrystallization temperature. The process involves passing sheet metal through an extrusion press at 1,800°C before being pressed into shape. Hot rolled steel is more formable and easier to work with than unprocessed steel. This makes it easier to form the steel, resulting in products that are easier to work with. Hot-rolled steel tubes are seamless steel tubes that have been rolled in a process define rolling process (or hot-rolling process). According to the cross-sectional shape, seamless steel pipes are divided into two types: round and special-shaped. Special-shaped pipes include square, oval, triangular, hexagonal, melon seed, star, and finned pipes. According to different purposes, there are thick-walled seamless steel pipes and thin-walled seamless steel pipes. Seamless steel pipes are mainly used as petroleum geological drilling pipes, cracking pipes for petrochemical industry, boiler pipes, bearing pipes, and high-precision structural steel pipes for automobiles, tractors, and aviation.
