Manufacturing Process
Base Material: High-quality low-carbon steel rod (e.g., SAE 1006-1010 grade).
Key Process – Hot-Dip Galvanizing: The wire is first cleaned (pickled) to remove scale and rust. It then undergoes a flux treatment to prevent oxidation before immersion. The core step involves dipping the clean wire into a molten zinc bath at approximately 450°C (840°F). A metallurgical reaction occurs, forming a series of zinc-iron alloy layers bonded to the steel substrate, topped by a layer of pure zinc.
Finishing: As the wire exits the bath, a wiping process (often using an air knife) controls the coating thickness. The wire is then cooled and spooled.

Common Specifications:
Diameter Range: Very wide, from very fine 0.2 mm to heavy-duty 6.0 mm or thicker. Common gauges include 0.7mm, 1.2mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, and 4.0mm.
Packaging: Supplied in coils, spools (on reel carriers), or straight lengths.
